10 hours itinerary from Mexico City

Visit Puebla, famous for its "Talavera" and churches, then Cholula, archeological site with the widest pyramid in the world. Along the way we'll admire the Popocatepetl and Iztlaccihuatl volcanoes.

Cholula and Puebla are two of the most amazing and quaint towns in Mexico. Puebla is famous for its pottery work, gastronomy, architecture, and legends. Cholula is famous for having the pyramid with the biggest base in the world, and for the myth of having over 365 churches.

Puebla is a UNESCO world heritage site. Home of the talavera pottery, which is known for its colors, intricate designs and smoothness. In Puebla is where the Mole was first made. The mole is a very thick, creamy, spicy sauce with a lot of flavor. It is made out of 30 different ingredients, between peppers, spices, tortillas and chocolate.

Cholula is known for its large amount of churches, in reality it has over 37. Some people tend to exaggerate and they say that it has over 365 and you can visit one every single day of the year without repeating, but that is false. Something true, though, is that Cholula is home of the biggest based pyramid in the world.
